Blowing through a bunch of movies these days:
- Draft Day (2014) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - a fun flick about negotiation, values, and trust
- The Accountant (2016) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - a turn-your-brain-off watch
- Road House (2024) ⭐️⭐️ - doesn't hold a candle to the original

Blowing through a bunch of movies these days:
Come to think of it, most of the movies I watch in a given year are repeats of those I've seen countless times before. There's something with new movies; they fail to entertain or live up to expectations. Additionally, the reliance remakes place on phenomenal stories from the past that are often no where as near as good as the originals, and the tendency to throw 'crap against the wall to see what sticks' means that most new movies I watch often flop with me.
The movies I re-watch over and over aren't always the best of movies; some are down right trashy, but there's a reason I'd rather watch them time and time again instead of trying my luck with something new.
