I don't do much in text editors these days, but when I am working in them it's typically for batch processing files for the weirdest of reasons.
I've held out for the longest time using the long-abandoned text-editor Brackets, mostly because it was capable of doing (most) of what I needed in a text editor and was available on both Apple and Windows machines.
Well, after one too many frustrating attempts in the past few months of trying to insert a new line \n
when doing a find-and-replace on a few hundred files, I've finally given up on it.
I'm not certain what took me so long, but after only a day of using BBEdit I'm in second heaven.
